Sado Church is a century-old congregation in the Reformed tradition. Our church joined the United Church of Christ in Japan in 1941. Our building was constructed by an international youth work camp in 1954. The first Japanese woman pastor, Rev. Ms. Hisano Takahashi, was born on Sado and entered ministry from this church in 1933.
