Our rest stop is accommodated in Hotel Meoto, just in front of Meoto-iwa Rocks, one of Sado's beautiful scenic spots. Inside we have a restaurant, souvenir shop, and an exhibition of classic chests and fine art collections. We are one of the best restaurants whose menu include Sado's original burikatsu-don, a bowl of rice topped with deep-fried yellowtail fish cutlets. We also produce our original natural salt which is made from mineral-rich Sado's seawater. You will find our elaborate passion in its quality, unmatched by artificial, ionized salts. Please stop by.

We offer mouth-watering sensations of delicious fresh sushi, as well as a delightful range of homemade desserts. Our highly skilled sushi chefs present the best sushi in town to our customers. Kosado Restaurant was founded in 1972 and welcomes guests from around the world with its newly renovated interior. Located behind Itoya Ryokan, it has gained a reputation as one of Sado's popular dining spots. At our establishment, savor dishes such as Sado beef steak, flavorful tonkatsu, and spicy curry. Additionally, enjoy the rich aroma of our in-house roasted coffee and indulge in cakes made with local fruits by our pastry chef.

Our restaurant in Higashi-odori offers Sado’s best kamameshi (a rice dish served in an individual pot) varieties for lunch and dinner. Our boasted yakitori (skewered grilled chicken or other meat) is only served in the evening.

Yakitori Yajima, Old-style Grill & Bar is situated in front of Sawata Beach and offers a taste of Japanese old-style bar & grill well suited for casual drinking. Please note that no kamameshi is served at the Sawata Beach location but we have Sado beef skewers. We both have menu in English. Enjoy your time on Sado Island!

All our bread and sweets are made from slowly fermented yeast and specially selected ingredients, which provide rich flavor and springy texture. Our restaurant has an open air deck in the rear overlooking Sado’s beautiful sea. Our distinguishing landmark is our triangle roof house on the sea side.

Italian restaurant deVinco is run by prestigious German style sausage producer Henjinmokko. Enjoy our dishes, which use Henjinmokko sausages, Sado‘s produce and fruit. All our staff members are heartily dedicated to provide restaurant services with that can produce a customers’ smile. Major credit cards are accepted. We also sell Henjin-mokko’s sausage items.

A charming gelato stand “mattelato” is nestled in the grounds of Italian restaurant de Vinco. We offer gelato crafted from Sado’ seasonal-select fruits. Perfect for a delightful stop during your drive or cycling adventure. Please stop by to get yourself a refreshment.

We are a small-sized café opened in April 2017 by a pasty chef with over 10 years of experiences at a cake boutique in New York. Our place is closely located by the seaside and found in walking distance from Ryotsu Port. Have a relaxing time with our coffee, homemade cookies and sandwiches.
